Advantages

Why our Grade A performs

  • High oil content. Kernels are harvested at full maturity and dried slowly, preserving the richness that makes kemiri an effective thickener.
  • Clean, uniform appearance. Hand-sorting removes discoloured and broken pieces, giving a consistent ivory lot.
  • Low moisture, long shelf life. Controlled drying to max. 6% moisture reduces the risk of mould in transit.
  • Single-origin traceability. Each lot is linked to its collection area and drying batch.

Applications

Common uses

  • Thickening base for curries, rendang, and traditional Southeast Asian pastes
  • Spice blends and ready-to-use seasoning production
  • Cold-pressed candlenut oil for cosmetics and hair care
  • Retail repacking for Asian grocery and specialty food channels

  • Double hand-sorting to remove broken, dark, and mouldy kernels
